Hello all, I am looking into setting up a watercooled machine over the christmas holidays. Reasons are quite obvious. I want to push my overclocks to a higher level and a significant reduction in noise.

My budget is $250 for a new case to house the w/c setup, a res, rad or hc, cpu and nb block, and whatever else I may have forgotten to make this thing work. As far as 3/8 or 1/2 ID tubing, I really dont know which one gives better performance, so I need advice on that too.

I am willing to cut two small holes for the hoses in the case, but nothing more than that as far as case modding.
The system will cool what I have listed in my specs/ aside from the gfx card.

Will be looking forward to your replies. Thanks

well you also need a pump(D5 aka mcp655) , res isn't required(swiftech makes a nice one http://swiftnets.com/products/MCRES-micro.asp) you can do a tline if you wish, 1/2" is preffered, for a rad a dual heatercore should be enough or a BIX3 would definately do it, cpu block well the storm is prob the best but it's pricey so just get one off www.dangerden.com, on the NB you don't need it, it's overkill as i have found out and i won't be doing it on my next system.

BTW this stickie is of all the best parts out ther for watercooling, might be helpful, much is out of your price range though
