Have u ever tested The vcool program?

Its a nice little cooling program for those who have AMD and VIA via 133 based motherboards..

If ur computer is idle alot, this helps out alot. Im running my processor @ 19c idle. 55 full load. :)

There's an earlier thread regarding Vcool here (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34805&highlight=VCool). Looks like some people had quite a bit of luck with it. There's also links to a download site which are still working.

I tend not to use software cooling because I'm running the Folding @Home client 24/7. Software cooling only helps when your CPU has idle cycles. Something to consider though if you're not running any distributed processing applications.

If you overclock your system; return your cpu to normal speed and vcore to default, then install the program. At least that worked for me! :)

Ditto. Be4 SETI I used to be running CPUIdle, which managed to help my cpu stay cool when it wasn't working, but now I find myself turning it off everyday

Just to be sure check those temps again, if you're using VCool.
I found that I had to switch The CPU to (2) & mother board to (1) in the options of VCool.
Mine started out reversed. I figured it out when I ran my Via Hardware monitor. My temps are now 31C-cpu & 28C-mobo as I write this.;)
P.S. Then again, maybe your squirt gun does a hell of a job on cooling your cpu --- Just noticed WATER COOL

After I killed my first KT7A, I bought a ECS K7S5A and ran my fsb at 150 about 3 months. I could never do this with my other board.(v.1.0) I don't know if you can burn-in your memory, but now on my second KT7A, I run the fsb at 133 and fsb+ at 7. I think my chip is from a good batch. It runs stable at 1.4 with a default vcore.

I am using mbm

pretty weird isnt it:D

I also have 3 90mm blowing at the mobo and 3 80mm sucking air out so its getting plenty of air

I live in sweden.. :)

I had about 24c in my room when I managed to get the processor to 18c.

I was using icq, irc, and listening to music then. Pretty good I think.

But if I play, the northbrige is connected again and my temps rise like hell :)

how is that posible?

I know for a fact you cant get below ambient without a good bong or supercooling........

when you say had about 24c in my room when I managed to get the processor to 18c

do you mean thats your mobos temp?
