Looking to see which video card would fair better. Assuming both have about the same amount of shared ram of course. And what kind of games would I be able to play with them suckers?

They are about the same.

You shouls be able to play most games, on low settings.

My old X300 Mobility ran B&W2 Fine @ 800x600, medium settings.
Really though, if you want gaming, look into the Dell 9300 series, or maybe the ASUS notebooks.

my budget is about 1300 bucks canadian. I am looking at the Inspiron 6000 as well as some Compaq Turion Lappies. Most of which have the Xpress 200m

Those cards are deently not gaming cards, if they will play a modern game they will butcher it to the point were you just dont want to play it anymore. These cards are made for either business/budget users looking for just a little grfx power to play an older game at descent fps, like bf42. Go for the acer 4402WMLi(dont rember if that right) with x700, or the Compaq v4000t with teh same x700. That will give you much better performace than the x300 or the 200m.

Both would most likely only be good for older games. If you are going to be playing the newest games, go for 6800gt or x700

yup I agree 6600go or X700 should be the min. Why not try and get a cheap 9300 W/ 128MB X300 and upgrade to a cheap 6800go when you can

Well being on a budget of 1300 bucks canadian, i doubt i will get anything close to a 6600 go. But the 9300 has a modular video card?

But the 9300 has a modular video card? correct, it can take a X300,6800go,6800Ultra(same card clock speeds differ) and a 7800GTX Go :D Personally that would be the best way to go. the 9300 offers great number of upgrades for a notebook. I just swaped my 6800Go with a 7800GTX, just waiting on the 9 cell battery and 130 watt power brick. It was super easy, less than 30 min job and that was my first time ever opening up the laptop.

Ehh it is too expensive anyway... but... really, isn't the xpress 200 much like a 9200 or something like that? DEcent gaming? nothing great but ok?
