The input (mini end) for my 2.1 Logitech computer speakers is on the way out. It's losing volume and well as skipping depending on the orientation inside the device output in multiple devices including my computer and mp3 player.
How hard is it to splice in a new end? I assume it is at most 4 wires, but before I go in, I wanted to make sure I wasn't ruining my speakers for good (can't deal with laptop speakers). I'll splice in an extention cable while I'm at it.
A normal person would just buy new (better) speakers, but I'm a poor college student.
Thanks
