OS Independent Benchmarking Tool?

Anyone here know of a good benchmarking tool I can run from DOS or another type of Bootable CD? I am having some major computer issues and need to rule out hardware

Memtest it will test memory and runs off a floppy.

You can go ask the linux guys about maybe some programs that would work off a live cd verison of linux such as KNOPPIX.

go grab the UBCD, do a google on it. stands for "ultimate boot compact disk"

i use it all the time. its got all kindsa dos/linux based bench proggies on it,...p95 for example.

highly reccomend the UBCD.
