I was wondering... why not run a line from your toilet's reservoir to your bong? So long as the line ends up lower than where it starts, the water level in your bongs would stay at the same level as in the tank.

An idea that popped into my head after two midterms and an arts paper.

I have had all the parts for an autofill bong cooler for a couple of months now. Just have not got around to putting them together. If I ran a line from the commode though, my wife would go bovine. ;)

Hey Colin, what's your water source? If it's just normal tap water, I think that you'll get some problems. That still sounds like a good thing to do, though.

What an intersting idea. I might try that if the nearest toilet weren't so far away.

I have inline filters for the tap water. In addition, I plan on changing the water monthly as I do with my current setup to remove any concentrations of disolved salts the filters fail to remove.

Does anyone periodically run vinegar or coffeepot cleaner through their systems to clean them out?

That sounds like a good idea. Does that stuff eat metal? If not, I think I'll get some.
What do you have for cooling, nihili?
