Alright so I got that 30$ PS That was supposed to suck really bad and roast marshmellows last night and I though that I would give it a shot and install it. I seriously think newegg sent me the wrong PS. Its glossy black on the outside, has a 120mm fan, and says it has 18a on the 12v on the sticker....It even has the wires sleeved. I havent powed up my system yet though because im waiting for my heatsink which I willl get and install today(any tips on how to apply that Silver Paste would be nice). But if I hadent heard so many bad things I would say it looks like a good PS. It is pictured below.

Even a Deer works until it blows and wipes out a lot of expensive hardware - I would advise no overclocking until the replacement arrives. Good looks don't equate to good quality I'm afraid.

I know, I dont think I will be overclocking at all untill I get the new PS, I just hope this one can power my system for a bit so I can set everything up and check to make sure I hooked everything up right. Btw do you know how to apply that Thermal Paste for the CPU?

Read around in the cooling section and use the search feature - you should find something to help you out.
A PSU can't look like a good PSU unless you know what you're looking for, open it up, and examine the components yourself.

Agreed :)
I've never seen a Unitek made PSU before... any chance of some pics of the innards if you're up for some warranty voiding CoreGamer?
Check the website of the paste maker for dirrections. I know artic silver has instructions on the site, and I would be suprised if the other paste makers did not.
