First of all I can't make a partition in partition Magic..... I mean I can make it and it start the computer in Ms-Dos and trys to make the parttition and says:
Error 2003: While executing Batch
Error 2003: File Size does not match FAT allocation file
I tryed just booting from the Corel Cd it does nothing but does all the normal stuff and the last thing it does is detect the hardware...Then the screen fades and says Corel grahics install then the computer ejects the cd and it restarts doing it over and over again...
Dude your all over with this question...
How big is your C???
I personally like to leave my C stripped to ONLY what it needs to run my 'puter so that way it can never be bogged down .... thus my partition sizes, 8.5g/31.5g
... I would just try to install the secondary OS on the secondary drive - Linux is lean and mean so having it on the D: won't hurt performance too much if at all...
from what i hear corel linux is the worst distro ever. dont bother with it.

mandrake will install a dual boot loader. it works fine.
mandrake 8.0 is a pretty painless install. i wouldnt worry about it too much mike.

Ok I wont worry then :)
Linux distros install a small piece of software on the Master Boot Record of your first HDD (/dev/hda) and this kicks in when your PC boots. It will have a little prompt - you choose what to boot
