Hi there,

I have the 1st set, but now one of the sticks have gone bad so I have to deliver it back to get fixed but I also have the option to get another of the sets listed below (and pay ~35$ extra)

So, what do you say, should I make a small upgrade or just stick with the type I already got?

Thanks, KroxX

I just recieved a pair of the FX chips from the egg yesterday, and am having decent luck with them. I have them stable at 275 so far, 2.7V/ 2.5/3/3/6.
Not too darn shabby for $152.00

I don't see any reason or advantage to investing another $35. What do you hope to achieve with it that you can't do with the PC4400?

I am going to buy a gig of the fx's this weekend, because of the price/speed/timings. Pretty good deal. Have you guys been running them 1t or 2t?

I have been torturing my poor cpu/memory all night, and am now at 3040. 10x304 with a 183 divider, leaving the FX memory at 276,(still 2.5/3/3/6) with still only 2.7V. I am running mine at 1T. It's Prime Stable, Super PI stable. This is Fantastic Ram for the $$

Pay the $35 and be happy. At least you know that mem is not holding you back, and down the line regreting why didnt you. RMA'ing and restocking fee will cost you that much incase you decided you should have bought the other.
