I'm a big SpyBot fan but lately I'm getting some update checksum errors and I think a real time remover is very useful but I don't know which one is good.
What are your recommendations?

Microsoft AntiSpyware has done well for me one peoples computers I fix. Seems to prevent most problems from getting too bad before I get to it.

If you're willing to pay, Spysweeper & Spyware Doctor are pretty good. Last week, Spysweeper was free after rebate ($20 rebate), you might find a similar deal this xmas.

Don't know if you still check this as the last post is pretty old, but I use Ad-Aware which has been great to me... no problems

I'm currently using SpySweeper and I'm happy with it, thanks anyway.

As of late, MS Anti-Spyware kills Norton Anti-Virus installations:

Spysweeper is good, if you don't mind the slowdown. Spyware Blaster helps as well.

There's always Linux... =)

Actually I don't even feel SpySeeper while SpyDoctor was wrecking havoc on my system, I felt like I was running Norton....

SpyBot was giving me checksum error which he stopped doing now after I couldn't update it for few weeks.
