wat would be a better idea to mount a 1.2ghz T/B approve hsf on to a gf3? it weight nearly 2/3 or 1/2 the weight of volcano6 cu+, using a strong double sided tape or just themol paste?
i need it soon as possible any help would be appricate.

I'd say go with the paste. cause over time the tape might give. i've used the tape on different thing and had it fail a couple of times.
You are going to want to strap it on...
just using paste, causes all the weight
to be supported by the gpu!
The GPU may fall off the card.
Just use some plastic straps and some
artic silver.

i have a better idea... i have actually planned this, but not gone through with it yet.
depending on how your heatsink is, you can do this. if it is a flat HSF (alpha, coolermaster, etc... just pretty standard heatsink), you bore out 2 small holes in the bottom, that correspond with the holes in the card that hold the stock sink on place. then, tap these holes (thread them), and put bolts through, and bolt the baby on! you will obviously use rubber washes so no metal-metal contact happens. but this will work, and itwill be very stable.

I must admit,
this idea is much more resonable.
I'd give it a try.
