how come folding 2.0 wont run on my 2000 server
it says it cant connect to dl the data.
i had 1.34 on there and it ran fine....
i set it all up to go through my firewall too.
any ideas?
oh and i am mad about this :mad: ..... so i guess i get to use the lil fire guy eh? :D

Well your win2000 server pc should be fine what firewall are you using and how is it set up..

If That is your server pc why not have a net connection on that and then use ICS or another proxy server to provide internet access to everyone else???

Most of the connection problems I've seen were with win 98 and were related to opening up the system to the tcp/ip stack.
I'm not sure why you are having problems connecting. Have you tried using the http option to connect or is it just giving you trouble with all configurations?
Also, I think there was a server down or something earlier, but there should at least be some kind of sign that it is connecting even with a down server.
