DVD Rom combo

Well I'm still in the age is the cd-rom...I have some money about 70 or 80 to buy
a DVD Rom with burning capabilities.Can anyone recommend me a good drive?

you can get a good dual layer dvd burner for ~$40. Liteon, sony, nec, are all good brands.

I just bought a 16x DVD burner for $40 shipped on newegg! cheap!

I bought an Asus, but looking back I'd probably go with an NEC or Lite-on. I've got 2 Lite-on drives and they've always read/written great. Any of the ones newegg has are great, just pick one that fits your needs.
