cleaning

I was just wondering what the best way to clean out a radiator is. I haven't cleaned my system out yet and i can see algae growing on the tubes so I can only imagine what it looks like in the rad. Should I just run some soapy water through or what? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have asetek water blocks, does it matter if I use alcohol or vinegar to clean them? or do they both produce the same results?
