Does anyone know where I can find blue paint that nicely matches and looks somewhat like anodized aluminum? Maybe a semitransparent blue paint will work, but I can't find a source for it.

Duplicolor makes a two part paint that comes pretty close, though in practice it looks exactly like a saphire candy blue. You can find it at AutoZone, and it's called MetalCast. Silver metalflake undercoat, with a saphire blue semi-transparent topcoat. More coats=darker blue.
*edit-you might try using a normal silver undercoat to get closer to anodizing's effect. The metalflake is sexay, but like I said it's closer to a candy color than they claim. And yes, it will stick to Duplicolor's normal silver off the shelf spray paint.

At Evil WalMart I spotted a similar system from House of Kolors that's a nice looking Cobalt Blue (though it comes in smaller cans for the same price).
