I have two wiring questions.

1.) I want to wire up some LED's, I know what resistors they need for 5v and 12v. What I plan to do is wire up a few LED's coming off of 5v..so I was just going to create a molex with just the red wire and ground and solder on the resistor on a small tail form the molex, then do a wish-bone splice in the wire going to each LED..that sound about right?

2.) Unrelated question, is it ok to cut the floppy drive power plug off of your rails and turn it into a molex? I don't have a floppy drive so I don't need two floppy drive power plugs.

You can do that, or run a wire from ground to all negative pins in one wire. And the 5v wire through all positive leads on the LEDs

Yup every thing worked great....any tips for soldering to LED's? it's kinda hard to get a good solder from wire to flat metal...wire to wire is alot easier since you can twist them together first

Drip the solder onto the joint then heat from the underside with minimal contact to draw away the excess.
