Right, mod number two was completed today. My tbird (1.33 axia) was running damned hot (67 active according to Asus probe so about 57 in reality). mod number one was a 92mm Sunon case fan which dropped the temps from the 57 active range to the 51 kind of area. But this whole ducting thing, without fans, just a hole in the side of the case and a bit of pipe to about an inch over the hsf dropped my idle temps from a not-too-bad 41 to about 36, and actives from 51 to 46. Thats like 7-8 degrees for the sake of a £1.25's worth of investment and a couple hours in the garage.

Although note well, I did get somewhat electrocuted when the drill (an old one I admit) exploded in my hands. BUT dont let THAT put you off =)))

It makes it all worth while when there is pain involved. :D

BTW, you might wanna remove that link from your sig. Only the senior members are allowed to do that around here. It'll probably attract the attention of a moderator if not changed soon.
