I and a friend can't access them right now, I wonder what's up, it's been down for a good 8 minutes or so from what I'd known.

I can't add anything to my shopping cart. Tries to load the page for about 1 minute and then get the "Cannot find server" error. It's been like this for about an hour.

Not lkike the world is ending people so relax. newegg goes down now and then, usually for maintinence or temporary outages, most sites are never up 100% of the time.
