My mom's rig apparently has both the console and graphical client installed. Graphical is not doing anything at all, so I figure I can uninstall it.

Nope. Tried to do so through Add/Remove, and Windoze is telling me it can't find the setup file. So, I go off looking for the graphical client directory.

It does not exist. Anywhere (this computer is soo screwed up; five copies of everything in various places and I don't know what's OK to get rid of).

Any way to remove the graphical client when the files to do so don't exist (besides reinstalling then uninstalling, which the way this machine is may mess things up more)? It's confusing EMIII I think (but i do recall having EMIII probs on this rig before which were never actually resolved).

If things are really screwed up bad then I would backup all important files then wipe it and reload it and set it up right not just F@H.

You have to look at how long is it going to take to go in and fix everything manualy vs a complete reload.

I think if you just delete the folder it is installed in it is pretty much gone.

There are likely some registry entries you could clean up but i never bothered on my sig rig. I have been running this way since i started folding back 8 or 9 months ago.

I just run the console (not as a service since i like to keep my console visible on one of my displays).
