Well, I've made up my mind about doing a mod. I have Sunbeam Transformer case that I dont really like so instead of getting a new one, I'll mess it up until I get it right :) It will be called the AMD Flagship because it is going to scream AMD just loooking at it. Most of it will be a paint job but it needs serious cable management inside so dremmeling will be done. 2 Questions though: What paint do I use to get the best finish? And where can I get thin sheets of plastic to make stensils out of?
For paint you can use Krylon. I like it as even with medium effort and prep you can get a nice finish.
Plastic.... Most hardware stores will sell plastic. My home depot does.

For plastic/acrylic your cheapest bet is to check in the yellow pages for the plastics shop nearest you. Usually they will sell it to you by the pound. Mcmaster (www.mcmaster.com) is also a great alternative.

Automobile paint would give you the very best finish, need a spray gun through.
Stencil material could be had from a craft shop as well as the all ready mention hardware store.
If you want to free hand a design onto a surface, buy some Bob Dively Liquid Mask. You just brush a few coats onto a surface, let it dry, and you can cut any sort of design you want into it.

Sounds like a good idea, but I cant free hand, gonna need to use a stencil. Anywho, I'll prolly start work on it after the holiday so look for it in the project log.
