Hi guys.

I'm new here and new to vmodding. My mate gave me his old Radeon 9550. This is the card...

http://www.connect3d.com/products/agp_9550.htm

It seems to be a great little card. I did a bit of reading about it and found the 9550 to 9600 guide, so I've done that. I have the card running at 433MHz core and 233MHz mem. Its running great at the moment but I want to see how far I can push this little thing. :)

I'm thinking of VModding it. I've had a look around and tried to find a guide for this specific card but havent managed to find any. I've read through the sticky topics about how VMod's work, I've kind of got my head around the basic principle of how it works but I dont think I could identify exacly what needs to be modded.

So instead of just attacking the card with my soldering iron I thought I'd 'ask the experts'. :)

Does anyone know if there is a guide for this specific card? Or if I post some pics of the board, could some of you guys help me out with it?

Cheers

some nice high res pics of the card should be handy for us, if you can get shots ood enough for us to read the numbers on the chips. a flatbed scanner works fantastic at this, and also compare the board and stuff of your card to any cards you can find in radeon 9550 Vmod guides, and if the regulator area is the same on both cards, you should be able to use that mod. ATI gives the ocmpany a reference design, and sometimes they choose to use that reference design, or sometimes they choose to go off and use their own design, which makes it more difficult to mod :-(
