Leak-Cleanup Advice?

I'm making a new post cuz my post is way on down the page

my question...
now that i have it running
the DEX COOL antifreeze seems to have left a slick feeling film behind

the top of my top slot 7800 was soaked and i know it got into the pcie slot

I just called an electronics shop
they have SPRAY cans of 99% isopropal(me spelling is bad) alchohol

they said it evaperates pretty fast

should i spray into pcie slot and soak it and take air hose right quick and blow it out?

and spray the 7800 down real good?

i have just ordered DD UV Blue tubing so i have to take it apart 1 more time

so i want to clean up the film its left behind from leak

whats best way?

buy a bottle of 99% alcohol and soak it in it. Then wash off and blow dry.

i would soak it in the alcohol, blow dry, and then let it stand for a day just to make sure. soak everything that was leaked on.

Ditto...bathe good, slot and all, in rubbing alcohol (probably want to take out the MB to do this) and put it in front of a fan overnight. The rubbing alcohol should be able to take care of the film from the coolant.

hmm, i may have had the same problem. I am gonna pick some up on the way home *sadface*.
