I'm going to be getting a new system here in the next few days, and I wanted to just take all my info over to that system. Does anyone know what file to delete to take the hardware settings out of windows?

Welcome to the forums!

...and the answer to your question is, there is no file. You basically have very few choices. You can ghost your image onto the new PC and hope you don't have many problems (which is very seldom) or you can just back up all your important files and then reinstall on your new system and just reinstall everything (recommended).

Depending on the similarities of the two systems you may not run into many problems just ghosting over but you're bound to inherit some problems. It just won't run as clean as a newly installed OS.

Good luck and welcome once again!

I'm not sure if you meant this too, but I meant the file to delete, that when you restart Windows, it will search for all your hardware again.

Nothing to delete file wise, just when it boots back up delete all system devices, reboot and it will reload your new system resources
