BF2 Joystick setup

Anyone got a favorite way they setup their joystick for planes and/or helicopters in BF2. I just got a Saitek Evo and I'm rather confused on what keyboard keys to assign to what on the joystick.

There are mnay Saitek forums, and simulator forums that have all kinds of "profiles". Many of these folks that have built up these profiles also have key cards. You will have to memorize the all the functions, and practice until using them all becomes second nature, but it really doesn't take that long.

Best bet is to use somebody else's profile for awhile, and then you can tailor it to your individual taste once you lkearn to fly and figure out the programming. Programming a Saitek is pretty tough. In fact, it's one of the hardest to program.

If you go to SimHQ.com you'll find a BF2 forums there. BF2 is considered a simulator when you get into the flight aspect of it. If you are flying the helicopters, you will also find that there is lots of helpful info there.
