Hack Writing-wtf Is The Point?

WTF is the point of writing aimbots, wallhacks, firebots, skin acs, etc for games? They totally trash multiplayer games.

Example. Playing UT on Morpheus.
Some guy called "IMTHEBEST!!" joins the game. He gets fragged 4 times on the way
to the sniper rifle.

Thenhe finally gets the gun, and wins the match in 5 mins or so. Blatant aimbot.

And ther's the C/S wallhackers.

WHAT'S THE POINT OF WRITING AND PUBLISHING THESE STUPID HACKS??????????????????

If you do use cheats, you'll start to need them... and wont be able to play without them... then a new version of the game will come out, your cheat wont work, and you'll be ****ed.

Those ppl p!** me off so much. Also, games just aren't fun when you cheat. There's no challenge. It's just for those that have to win to meet their own egotistical needs. Plus, they screw it up for the rest of us:mad: (sorry if it's too close to a flame but I hate cheats)

back home i knew this kid, had some problems with nerver pain and really bad headaches, so he could not go to school or whatnot, he played CS all day long, literally all day, we always told him his headaches were from looking at the screen for 20 hours a day. he was like ranked 113th in the world or something,
but he did cheat, he only played in his clan server and he would use these cheats where, terrorist would be all green and ct would be all red, that way ya never get confused as to who was who, then there were these big bars that came off each person he saw, like he knew someone was around the corner before the person popped out b/c he could see the bars coming out of the side of the corner and such, made me sick.

hell people used to do that crap in AQ2 aimbots and speed hacks and whatnot, but hey i was good at bunny jumping in the Urban series so they never bothered me much, plus i was good at writing config files so i could use the sniper rifle better and well the mp5 and shotgun :)

i have faith in punkbuster for those who are just using cheats passively. But for those who are always using cheats and want them I don't think it has any effect.

the main problem with cheats is not the cheaters
you can always leave a game or if an admin is on he can ban the cheater.
the problem is when people who are just plain good get blamed for cheating. like take this guy getting fragged 4 times going for sniper and then once he has it winning in 5 minutes. that could be me, as i have had games exactly like that in unreal. aiming perfectly is hard, but once you can do it you cap people like mad. ive had games of instagib where id roll of 10-15 shots in a row and each one hit somebody. ive been banned from lan servers here at school because people think i cheat. ive been yelled and harrassed on the internet because people think i cheat. thats the sad part, i have never even downloaded an aimbot to see what they are like, let alone used one. i dont see the point, as in unreal ive beaten a few of my friends on lan that used aimbots. didnt help them much when i can pull the trigger faster than them. anyways, i just wanted to say people get blamed for cheating a lot when they arent. actually, earlier today i got accused of using a wall hack in cs. apparently me being able to hear the morons footsteps wasnt a sufficient way for me to know he was coming. (whats funny is im only an average cs player, was like 10-10 at the time, how could you do that bad using a hack?). i think more effort should be put into anti-cheat software though, that way it will separate people who just kick butt at a certain game from the many cheaters out there...

ive never cheat in my life either, well once but i was alone in my hlpb server running adminmod and this guy kept on dying at my hands and he kept on calling my a cheater over and over and he wouldnt shut up so i said you want to see me cheat and i did admin_slayteam 1 hehehehehehehe.

that really ****ed him off, but so what i was bored and he was being an ass. plus i was alone.

i actually have an anti aimbot spray for cs.:D

Yeah, it sucks when people go psyco because they think your cheating... Ive been called things that i definitly cant say here... :eek: Those losers. But it's not their fault, its the people who cheat in the first place. Well... and their fault.

lol, well i just got accused of cheating in unreal. i know realize though why people think everyone who is good uses an aimbot. i was playing hyperblast (an anti-grav board for people who dont know) and was having fun killing in one shot outside in space w/ the rocket launcher and flak secondary. i mean like when people are jumping sideways and whatnot. know, someone please correct me if im wrong, but aimbots aim where the person is at that moment, so its nearly impossible to use one on someone jumping all around in anti-grav when you are using the flak secondary or the rocket. i tried to explain this, but they wouldnt listen. what makes it worse is i only won like 30-19/20 or something. im soooo rusty (darn you cs taking my ut skills away). hell, if you use aimbot can you really finish so badly, wouldnt you lead by 20-25 at least? or maybe not, ive beaten aimbots before. i guess it would depend on my lag and reactions more. anyways, it just irks me when people do that *growl* anyways, the main reason i was posting was to ask if there is like an aimbot training thing? ie something that people can watch so they can see what someone using an aimbot looks like. so they can differentiate between cheaters and people with skills. maybe a video on net or something. also, does anyone know how good that chsp in unreal is for catching cheats if thats what its even for?

He was a cheater, since he was a brilliant shot, but otherwise lame(didnt jump at all, never strafed, didnt know the map etc).

Anyway, getting blamed is sad. I can't see why people aimbot anyway- mostly its obvous whether someone's good, or lame with an aimbot.

for me, telling an aimbot is pretty easy... But it's probibly just me.

The one I've seen was this:

Person jumps out from behind a wall. Hits 4 people from across the room, all headshots, all with the AK from midair. Person went for 3 rounds with not a single non-headshot. :rolleyes:

They tend to be a bit obvious. Just follow them when you die, and you can usually tell. They'll just go out spraying, and get a bunch of headshots. Esp with non accurate weapons.

It is possible- just rake the room with sight at head hight, if you know instinctively where head hight is on screen of course! I do.

But not when jumping.
And not more than 1 or 2, maybe 3 ( my best is 3) head shots.

I'm lucky enough to have a broadband connection,

pings in the mid 20's when I connect with gamespy, I get fed up with being called a cheat when getting good ( I wish ) scores on ping hungry games CS, HL etc,

LOw ping does not mean Im cheating, When somebody gets fragged with a ping in the 500 V's my 20's it's like a bullet time from the matrix.

oh ill tell yah what,
low ping + optical mouse on USB = damn good aiming.

but the thing i have had trouble with sometimes, is when someone has bad ping, then they move very choppy not fluid at all and its hard to lead them off with a sniepr rifle in dod.

well, jsut had the most annoying experience of my life... i was in this cs server, nite's ff server... anyways, i had been playing for a few hours and then some admin jumps in the game. well, im minding my own business and get luck w/ like 7 headshots on 10 kills. i mean lucky... going around corners just spraying and hit 2 people. not aimbotting obviously as my gun is going all over the place. i eve get TWO headshots with grenades... didnt know that was possible. i think maybe the game messed up and was givin me headshots for everything, i mean sayin i was gettin em. anyways, this admins like 'headshots are a guaranteed cheater' and bans me. nevermind i had been playin for 2 hours w/ other admins in the game.... that just p***es me off. also, does cs ban by ip or that won id thing? wanted to go in and kill a few w/o headshotting (hopefully) to show that fool whats up. and its not like i was doin GREAT or anything. was like 10-3 and another guy (who didnt cheat either) was 19-3 or something. sheesh, people need to grow up. speaking of which, anyone know a good friendly fire server where the admins are jerks?
