Laptop scroll and Firefox 1.5 not working

I just got this new laptop (Compaq V2000) and I can't get the scroll to work with the newest Firefox. It works with everything else I have including IE, is there some sort of plug in or extension that I need to install to get it working? Is anyone else having the same problem?

I'm having the same problem. I got a new HP dv1000 and the scroll doesn't work. I believe it is the touchpad driver. When I upgraded the driver for my touchpad in my old laptop, the scrolling stopped working. I had to go back to the old version.

It was infact the drivers, I changed drivers and now it works. Thanks for the tip!
