hey hows everone doing . i havnt been here in awhile. my school has some serious bandwioth problems so that web is out of the question almost. that with a new girlfreind= running 3dmark for the first time in moneths today:)
anyhow im having a lot of trouble with the new drivers found on rage 3d. of course there still wet beta drivers but they are beyond buggy for me. aka complete screen scramble. but its a spoty problem too. sometimes i takes a while to show up and in that time ive got much more fps. then boom all gone.
anyone having problems with "Radeon-5.13.3276-Win2K"or "Radeon-5.13.3281-Win2k"?
also im a bit lost as to if these are for my card or not. the new drivers are calling my card a 7200. is that right for radeaon 64 ddr with a stock clock of 183?
i uninstalll my drivers before i install new ones by using the add/remove hardware thing. ive heard of more indepth ways of uninstalling vidio drivers. could that be part of the problem?

Use the Win 2K 7530 or the beta 7189 XP drivers.

I have a radeon 64 DDR vivo at 222.75/222.75 and I run XP suing the Win2K7530 from Pinky's ftp site.

performance is great not one problem, much better than the 3276 or the 3102 ATI drivers, I highly advise and this weekend I will bench the beta XP 7189's

Right now I'm running the 3281 drivers from Rage3d.com. Great drivers.

ok ive got the 7530 driver in now. no more scrambled screen. is this the best driver youve found? fps dont seem to be any better than my old drive(sorry can remember what it was) and i got a really bad bench. is it more stable? haha im just hoping youve done all the dirty work already so i dont have to lol

They have handeled you other questions. I'll get the one that they left out.

Yes your card is a 7200. Regardless of clock speed. The 64DDR VIVO's are 7200's, and I think they are calling the 32meg cards the 7000.

Phantom Punisher,

What is rest of your system, I scored 3965 in 3d mark2001 better than the 3276 driver and 3102 I believe. I plan to try the 7189 beta XP driver but imho the 7530 is better than the 3102 or 3276 Win 2K drivers but you have to test both to see perf diff in 3d mark2001.

I am happy with the 7530, not a prob of any sort, see my sig.
