WoW mods

I have these mods, most of them work, but I have a select few that will not. These is one in particular that I really want to work for my rogue. At first I thought for the mod all I need was .rar, so I downloaded it and everything was good. So I throw the mod into interface/addons file where it is suppose to go and it only shows some of the mods, not all. I was thinking that maybe you could only have a certain amount of mods on at one time so I took some out of the folder and still nothing. I wouldn't care but one of these mods would really really help out my rogue and I really really want it so here I am asking OCforums about it. :bang head

Also, some of the mods have a .lua and .toc, I don't know what the hell these are, I have never heard of them. But one of the mods I have works and it has these in it. So I don't know. Anyone know what my trouble is?

All you should have to do is extract the entire archive to the interfaces folder. Log into the server, and in the lower left hand corner you will see "addons." Make sure it is enabled there (the rogue addon you need)

I used to play the game and I always used flexbar, titanpanel, the combat stat thing and the nurfed unit frames. If you understand scripting you can do pretty much anything all these other superfluous mods can with flexbar. The interface is terrible and buggy but once you get it set up it works perfect. The guy that wrote it in lua stopped working on it a long time ago but it still works with a few caveats.

Blizzard keeps updating the variables that the user UI uses so UI mods dont consisntantly work from pathc to patch, amke sure you have the most up to date versions of the mods you are using

It's not so much they're updating the API as removing functionality from it in a futile attempt to thwart exploiters.
