clicking noise

Ok i might be on the wrong section of the forums becuase im not ENTIRELY sure its my gfx card. But every now and then under gfx intensive applications (dvd play back, games and the works) it will make a chirping noise and then a click noise afterwords and its REALLY annoying. Right now i have a 9800 pro (256) so im thinking its the card because i have no aftermarket cooling solution and the board gets pretty hot but im not sure that a gfx card has a warning beeper type mechanism that a mobo has for when its overheating, becuas ive had the same issue before. Anybody ever heard of anything like this?

well if it's a clicking noise it is mechanical. Move your ear towards each fan in your case. also what is the frequency of the noise? many times a second, once every couple seconds? see if all your wires are away from your fan blades.
