pump for a bong

Hey guys, im looking at building a bong becuase i want cooling better than air and it seems liek ti will be a fun project. I have most of the parts i need planned out but what would be a good pump if my bong will be about 2.5-3 feet high and it will sit right next to my computer

Anything will work for that height. A Hydor l30 will pump up a 5' bong with an RBX so anything you can get your hands on will be sufficient.

Is a seperate pump for the bong a good idea? If you went with a seperate pump just for the bong what would you use? Low head/high flow for bong(ie 120v) and high pressure(12v) pump for the blocks?

That usually depends on the height of the bong. Ideally, if you were to use seperate pumps, you would want a high head pump for the bong, and a high head pump for the loop.

In the case of a 2-3' bong, that would be overkill. One 120v pump (danner mag3 comes to mind) would be ideal.
