Do I understand correctly that you can use any type of pencil you buy in the shop - like office equipment shop? - when you want to bridge the L1's?

I used mechanical pencil. Its still running great @ 1215 from 1000 a year ago.

Where can I get a mechanical pencil?? And what is the difference between a mechanical pencil and a "normal" pencil you buy in a office equipment shop?
