There are many of us out there with limited user accounts and is quite annoying when you can't install something here's a list of what can be installed and will run on one and what won't run at all even when installed by a admin. account:

Can be installed and used by limited user accounts:
Milkshape3d A very, fun simple 3d software

VLC Media Player A video software that offers a wide variety of codecs ie: ogg, divx, .mov, etc also does dvd's, network streams, video capture and more. Well surpasses WM and offers quicktime support. Also includes codecs like divx that otherwise would require a admin. acount to be able to play.

Blender A free 3d software offering advanced rendering and model creation

Google Earth Allows you to view areal photos of places all over the planet. Also offer many overlay layers ie: roads, streets, resturaunts, etc. Also has 3d buildings in some cities.

Firfox A great browser offers tabbed browsing and more

Some software to install will say it may not run if installed by a limited user acount, hit proceed anyways. During install if it says can't acces C://Windows or system32 and has a option to continue/ignore hit it(some software may involve a lot of clicking). Try installing to a folder on the user.

Software that will not run on a limited user acount even when installed by a admininstrator acount:

*Empire Earth+ EE AOC*?

AOE?*

*Starcraft

*To use copy the files from program files into mydocuments or some folder on your user. Open it up and look for a launch file.
