The problem with entry kits now is that heatpipe coolers work better and cost less. My experience with kits is that they're not really going to prepare you much for a custom setup. Frankly, despite the more outrageous setups that people here have done, a WC setup is simple and straight-forward. At its simplest it really is just three hoses connecting three devices. The biggest problem is where to put the radiator, and you’re gonna have that problem with a kit as well. So I recommend saving your money and keeping your heatpipe for quiet cooling, or going all out for a high-end WC setup for overclocking.
