Well I just got into water cooling I bought a swiftech kit with the MCW372.
Best I can tell its work I got a 10C drop in temps from the Volcano5 I had. was able to get up to 1613 on my 1.4 T-bird.
I wanted to cool better so I added a second radiator about three times the swiftech am using. Better flow pattern as it loops back though 10 times and holds more water as well. 130cfm AC fan is blow though this radiator. 120 on the swiftech.
The loaded temp drop 0 nothing. I thought this odd. So I got a tub of water with ice in it.
Loop the extra hose I had thought the ice cold water. Its now 1 hour later and the temp has not dropped at all.
I know over all the on board temp sensors are not very good. But I had been able to us it to get an idea of what was working. Now it seems it almost useless.
Should I worry about the 46C I am getting from the on board unit. Or should I wait to worry until I get a better temp prob for on the CPU and see what it says?
I didn't notice the System temp dropped 1C after the Ice. Ah am tried and I bet I don't make sense so I will go to bed. :)
