I want to setup folding on an X2 so that one client will defer cpu usage to another. The thing is the comp is setup so that it's usually doing something that requires 100% of one core, so only 1 core is free for both clients. The two clients share the one core, and they both use half of the available core. Is it possible to setup one client defering? Oh and EMIII is used to launch both clients if that means anything.

Hmm well I found out that if I closed EMIII, then ran it again, only the second client defered cpu usage, the other stayed at 100% (for one core ;)). Guess this is the best I can do for now.

If you are doing processor intesive apps that keep 1 core pretty much occupied, I would suggest that you just run 1 client. There's no real use to run 2 clients if you are doing stuff that keeps 1 of the cores occupied all the time.
