missed the name unfortunately, but someone had a nice post (I believe a direct quote from Stanford) on what Folding is and how it works, etc that I tried to merge with another folding thread already existing. Both disappeared.........

If someone wants to put up another Folding message in the GD area, I'll stick it again.

Sorry guys.

p.s. I tried to merge it because there were 3 folding posts in the forum.......I'd like to keep it to 1 at a time please.

so now there is no folding post in gd and i seem to see a seti post there. ouch. someone must have rubbed shadow the wrong way today.

The post that was lost was very well written and to the point it sucks that it is lost, but hopefully the member who posted it will take the time to write it again. I want to thank Shadow for acknowledging the mistake. All too often in this world people would rather hide behind a rock instead of admitting a mistake. By acknowledging the mistake it allowed for it to be quickly resolved. We have great moderators here:D Fold on!

WTG YMAN! Your post helped out quite a bit it seems. :)
We may be closer to 15-20 in the last day. About 10 new people showed up in the stats in less than 6 hours. ;)

We grew another 6 or 8 people in the last 1 to 2 hours!!!
Maybe my post is useful afterall! :D

We are now at 118 People!
I have calculated about 34 people with 1 or 2 WUs completed!

I think I started a revival!

We also got a front page write up. The word is spreading. Just wait till next week when the recruitment starts spreading like a wildfire!!!:D

Once I get it all sorted out and networked, I'll throw a P/// 700 @ 968 on top of the XP.

I'll start a thread asking about that now... I probably should post it in the "Networking" thread, but....lol

I just got one of my friends to start folding on his k6-III 400. I know it isn't much, but it'll help. Plus, he's already starting to think about getting a new comp so he can fold faster :-)

In the next couple days I'll try to get a couple p4's and maybe an athlon or two folding for us.
