MCAfee Virusscan 5 - Webscan

i got Virusscan 5.15 and cant manage to fix a problem with WEBSCAN which will never initialize properly. have tried on W98SE and it worked perfectly but not on W2K PRO.
Webscan is a module of the VShield and deals with internet.
updated already to the vr 5.21 too.
has anyone got the same problem on W2k?
please, if there is anything i can do to fix that im thankful for knowing.

Have no problems running it on Win2K SP2 and before that SP1. Have you tried a complete uninstall and re-install the later version. I always configure from the VShield Wizard from the main program menu Mcafee Office/Mcafee Virus Scan/Mcafee Virus Scan Central/Options/VShield Wizard. Then select necessary functions.
Aside from that I can't offer any other suggestions for now.

thats an issue concerning IE6. Virusscan 5 is incompatible with IE6. gotta wait till the newer version 6 to become available here.
