Voor meer info.. LOL. It's amazing how similar languages can be. I'd love to see that bong too. Is there anything radically different about it?

Very interesting setup there I gotta say! Is there going to be anything over tha actual computer components? I think is my biggest question... hella bong too btw!!!

thank u, i should be done in about 2 days.

as u can see in the plan, there is going to be a plastic box on top of the mainboard dish. i havent found the right thing for that job yet.. but thats all detail work.

the question is, wil my eheim 1048 be good nuff for the job? it should be able to pump up to 150cm. i'll soon find out...

wow, this is a system i genuinely like. well thought out and well layed out. just remember your pump will have to be at the same level as your aquarium level. the water won't push itself above that point.

have recently been indoctrinated to the idea of bongs so this may be a bit wrong, but didn't know if you'd considered an idea like this perhaps?

or even perhaps without the interrupter plates set at 45 degrees... extend the table to 4 feet tall and make it flush with your desktop or some such...

i dunno. was just thinkin...

That’s an intrusting idea, i had thought of a similar thing before, but there are 2 flows, first the water doesn’t have enough diving destines, a height of 1meter is necessary for optimal performances. second, is the mist that comes free, that’s very moist air and moist air, wood and computer don’t go to gather. It would be to risky

I’m acutely almost finished wit the whole thing, I’m just a bit worried about the pump.

I’ll keep u guys posted with the real coming pics soon.

yup yup. good point. i guess if one were to get serious about that idea, removing the restrictor plates and sealing the inside of both the drain tank and the drop tank with some kind of urethane spray stuff would certainly be in order. not difficult or expensive, but an adequate response, and necessary. or better yet, the drain tank could be a plastic tupperware dish with tiny little holes bored into the bottom, dropping into a 5 gallon water jug.

you wouldn't need to drop it an entire meter though. with a bigger surface area in which to drop water from, you could have more water droplets - and with the amount of surface area you're dropping it from in combination with the weight of the water above it providing you a bit of water pressure to work with, your water "pores" in the perforated board could be smaller allowing for smaller droplets which would be more subjective to air currents and drop more slowly. like making a very thick mist of water. plus, with the drain tank being up there like it is, it would give the water a chance to pre-cool a little bit before falling.

at any rate... yeah, please keep us posted with pics. i'm curious to see how this works out for you.

good luck sam

Only question I have is on the second idea where doese the air go out? I see two fans blowing air in Just i thought maybe you just could not make it fit in the pic.

I think am going to build one in a frig at some point :)

perhaps you could have a dual fan setup in the bong, one pushing one sucking, of perhaps quad fans...

I might have a 96mm delta on top of the tower, but I’ll only do that it makes a noticeable difference. I want to keep the dB down, the Ys-tech I’m using now is a beast! Its 120x38mm with 120cfm i think that should be enough. I’m also thing of putting cool elements in to the reservoir.
I’ve now take then Aluminium plate off, it didn’t look to pretty, I must say, it looks far better without the Alu

here are some old plans:
