I just added 128 MB to my old computer and tried to run 3DMark 2k1 and after 7 tests, the comp just has a blank screen, the test does not continue, or it puts out a DX error message... I got the Datonator XP drivers and Win98 the games work great but 3DMark 2k1 just won't! What could be the problem?

i have a tnt2 m64 and that runs 3dmark2001, try a clean boot and hit ctrl+alt+del and turn of everything except systray and explorer and then run the benchmark
The TNT2 runs 3DMark2001 fine.
But in my experience, 3DMark2001 is a rather "memory timing sensitive" program. In my Soyo board, whenever I enable a setting called "Memory Ultra-Fast", 3DMark freezes the PC, or sometimes it gives a Illegal function warning.
Try slowing down you memory timings.
