Cas 2.5 is faster than cas 3. We may have updated the sticks with lower timings or your board may just be reading them wrong off the sticks. If you have stability problems with 2.5-3-3-8 timings try manually setting them to 3-3-3-8

bknight - it looks like many people have had success tightening the timings on these sticks of ram. You should def up to the voltage to 2.7 and try to run 2.5-3-3-7 or possibly even 2-3-3-6.
Remember, with ram timings, you are measuring the ns delay, so lower is generally better =)

this is nuts. at 11x200 timeing at 2.5-3-3-8 or 7 at 2.7volts errors.it will not pass.
but at 2.5-3-3-11 at 2.8 it will pass. so i up the fsb to 202, got 3 errors.well ok ill try
204 6 errors, 208 9 errors. is it just bad memory.

Are you using a CPC disabled bios? Your board is only meant for 166FSB so anything more than that is just luck. 512MB and 1GB DIMM's put lots of strain on the mem controllers.
I would suggest you not run the ram in dual channel on that board and find a CPC disabled bios.

OK i called tech support and told him my prob, gave him all the info that i could.
he said that that ram will not go over a 200 fsb, then i said about all the errors at 2.6 2.7 he said that's not good, i said that it would pass at 2.8 should i run it at 2.9 then.he said no don't do that it will just go bad faster.he said do not run it at 3 v it will voled? the lifetime warranty. he going to send me the info for a rma. he said will see if we can get you some better voltage sticks.
thank you steve for your help
