New case and Dremel!

Ok, so I have the tools, what should I do to this thing when I get it? HERE (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129155) No crazy lights please. Just good ole' fashioned awesome airflow. I'm gonna try that cpu thing out one way or another, see what works.

That case is so freakin cramped. lol. My buddy has one and i got so frustrated modding it.

Some nice chrome handles would look very sexy on it. Also, take off the front panel and try and make it more open. Get creative, im sure you can find some sort of way to make the intake more free.

Take off ALL the grills at the back and put a wire grill on it or leave it free. If you want , put some molding on it so it looks more professional.

Don't put a blowhole on the top. Things will get VERY VERY cramped. If you really want a blowhole on top to increase airflow, lower your cd drive to the lowest one and you'll have more space.

You think that one's cramped, you should've seen my old one :bang head Had to clip all the SATA and PCI-E cords off of the PSU for airflow and simplicity. No blowhole. A handle? Eh, I don't move it often enough. I was already planning to annihilate those grills. They know they block airflow, why do they do it? Gonna leave it free to breathe. I was thinking maybe a blowhole but only if the PSU had a fan on top (or bottom) and it doesn't. I was thinking maybe some stronger hinges and a diff door, but I'm not advanced enough to make a door to fit a premolded piece of plastic. Oh well, thanks for the ideas :) . Any body ever "rubberize" the edges of the sides or top. My old made mucho sound because of rattles...

you can do that too. they sell rubber washers or... ummm forgot what they are called but you can enalrge the holes of the fans and just about everything and put the washer in there and ptu the screw in the washer. It helps to absorb vibrations.

There called rubber grommets. Just remembered. When you screw in your component, you screw it in just enough so that the grommet gets slightly compressed. Helps with hard drives.

Ahhh, the list grows and the wallet shrinks. I was wondering if there were any other solution to noisy HDD's. My opticals are noisy too. I should make this sucker as silent as possible. Too bad I have a Denki too. Haha, there goes the silent idea. Gotta fan controller, I just hope this new case insulates a tad better. Should I put the Denki blowing in our out of the case btw?

Funny, because I'm in the process of modding mine right now. I didn't like the air duct thing, so I took it off and am in the process of putting a fan in the side panel. It is a pretty small case, but I love it because it's real easy to hide all the wires that way :D

Oh yea, the case already comes with little rubber mounts to help silence the hard drives :)

Suspend them with elastic cord, it's both the cheapest and best way to silence them. I think the website www.silentpcreview.com details silencing pretty well.
