I have been watching the prices on Pricewatch. The problem is that the companies that are selling the retail version of the 8500 do not have good ratings.
This one is selling at Compusa down the street.
Get the one at the CompUSA ... Most likely that the shipping will cost you around 20 dollars... And that's only a 20 dollar difference and if you buy it at Comp USA you'll be sure it is in great condition not broken or anything if there's anything bad you can make a quick change instead of shipping it back and fourth.

What is wrong w/ the OEM card. There is a considerable price difference?
Newegg has a bad rating, thats news.
the OEM card is clocked lower, 250/250....plus i think its made in china(not sure though).

My thoughts exactly.
Go to www.newegg.com
I personally vouch for all my $1000s in purchases from them.

I would buy the retail version from Newegg if they had it.
Compusa and Bestbuy has the card on sale for 299.99.
But I think I'll use a little patience and wait for Newegg to get it or see what kind of price Fry's will have on it.
