WIll the powerstrip still be overclocking my video card when i close the icon in the bottom right corner? Does powersrtip just start to overclock when windows starts or when the system starts?

PowerStrip overclocks your card when you start the program.
If you close it your card will still be overclocked, altough some cards reset clock speed whenever there is a resolution change. In this case it's best to leave PStrip running and eneble a option on the program that re-overclocks the card after the resolution change.

PowerStrip even gives you the option to run it by a command line. It then starts, applies the parameters you've passed by the command line, and then closes itself. It's very useful to create sortcuts with various command lines switches, so you can change quickly between them.

Since Power Strip is shareware does it stop working after a few weeks or something?

No, it just pop's a message on the screen everytime you start it. It has a timer, and counts 5 seconds until it becomes "closable". As far as I've noticed, it is fully functional, allowing you to change and save everything.

if you have an nvidia graphics card you should use coolbits which will overclock your graphics card everytime you start windows.....

In my experience I found coolbits to be more reliable and also gave me a better overclock. So if you have a nVidia card then you should give it a try.

The newest powerstrip will add +1 seconds to your tips window on startup every few days of use until it's registered... had mine up to 10 seconds :) before registering it.

DAppel - Thanks man
funnyperson1 - They don't work on the 12.41s. The newer drivers are no good for my MX.
Pinky - What is the latest one?
1. 3.02 593Kb;
2. 3.02 569Kb;
3. 3.03 575Kb?
I'm not sure with the last one 'cause I didn't get it from their site. I forget what release #s they have, so my only clue are the file sizes:o
