i have one of these hooked to my fishtank,its 350gph an it has an excellent lift because it has to go about 4 feet to reach the top of my fishtank.I never thought of it but i could just remove the filter and use it as my pump and resevoir.I know it heats up the water some though because the bottom where the pump is at feels warm,but of course its running 24/7 on my fishtank.Anyone else tried one?
