I want to over clock my p2 400 I have a tyan tsunami s1830 latest flash to the bios it has a soft bios I'm running it at 112 but I want to change my multiplier. I set it to 4.5 and then 5 but the computer continues to read it as 4 is an old p2 clock locked ??? any ideas I tried 133.3 bus but it was too much for the PCI not the chip :(

All Intel multipliers after about the 233MHz chips are locked.

System bus is your only choice.

HI looks like your sorta stuck dude... What hardware do you have in your PCI slots? FSB are the only things you can change ... With the locked multipliers.
