Anyone running Windows 2000, can you make a Emergency Rescue Disk, copy the files, and send it tho itthecow@aol.com? My system is messed up and I want it working again soon

can't you just boot off of the CD?

I'm desperate. The ERD is all I have left to try. Looks like Windows is deleting itself again :p

Thanks RED Hot. And Thanks Shadow, but a Boot Disk is different from an ERD. I wish it weren't, though. I've been at this for five or so hours :mad:

Stupid Windows. All is resolved by a reinstall :( but all my personal files are ok :)
