Install problems

I have a strange installation problem:

I installed the Windows client on my first pc- no problem.

I installed on #2 and it just kept crashing, so I shared the folder on #1 and copied all the files, started winfah and it runs without difficulty.
I had exactly the same trouble with #3 and did the same thing; its running fine????

Now is this going to cause me problems? I think all 3 are doing the same wu right now, but would expect them to get different units upon completion.......right?

I've used this method with seti and after the first unit all was good- am I ok doing the same thing with FAH?

Howdy, currently Hijacking a PIII 850 (or whatever it is-said 858)
for the cause. It won't run 24/7 though. It kept dl'ing a bad core_65 and crashing. Not sure what was up with that either.
Anyway, you should be fine copying those files. You may want to delete the client.cfg on the new machine so that you get another user ID though. It should create a new one. Out of curiousity I decided to try running the same client ID on two different machines and it does seem to work, since I am gettting credit, but I am going to switch it back so as not to have any problems in the future. I believe that the caching function has something to do with it working.

Got that other machine up and running. ;) Was able to hide it nicely. It will only produce about 3 or 4 wu's/wk though.

Ploaf I had the same problem with a system here. I had to erase everything but the FAHconsole reboot my system then I was able to get it work normal again.

Seems the reboot was important also as I tried without a reboot and it started crashing again.
