Get a thermal probe;

The probe can be taped or glued to the GPU. I have 2 of these and have the other on my CPU. The work great. The readings are within 1C of Motherboard Monitor or Via Hardware Monitor.

No, it is a simple LCD readout. You would actually have to look at it. Ha Ha Ha.
