i have an old offbrand 400watt psu waiting to die, a horrible death. I can sense it, shutdowns are gettin slower and the comp will sometimes restart instead of shutdown. SO! I have 2 PSU's in line, both under $50 mind you.
This Logisys 550Watt: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817170011
I like the bling factor of it being acrylic, and i looked the picture and it looked like the 1 12v rail was from 20-24amps (doesnt tell you anywhere) $45.99usd, good price i think.

And this Fortron that as suggested to me earlier: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104954&ATT=Power+Supplies&CMP=OTC-Froogle&srccode=cii_14110944&cpncode=08-3813687-2
2 12v rails each at 18 amp

The reason i ask is because i'm going to upgrade my system soon to, most likely, a DFI Infinity nF4 and a Sapphire Radeon X800GTO with my current sempron 64 2600+ and dvd burner i shall be ordering alongside the psu, dvd-rom, 2hdd's and 2 extra fans and 2 ccfl's
So will this 450watt power that nF4, because people have been saying i need a 480watt at least, or do the 12v rails matter more? What do you think, you guys have more experience than i do.

That looks more like just a software problem. Did you install anything recently?

no, its not software. What i mean by it shutting down slower is after windows is gone off the screen my PSU makes a chk! noise, and before right after that chk! noise the comp would shut off. But now the chk! noise happens and a couple to a few seconds then it shuts off, and a couple times instead of shutting off it restarted. So i think its a PSU problem, not software, plus its offbrand old and came with the case and has a 15amp 12v rail.

BTW i read in your sig "Bye bye Athlon XP T-bred 2400+ KIXJB 0415?!" what happened to it?

Good choice. The other one was definitely not the one that you would have wanted.
