Best software for creating dvds?

I'm ripping all of my VHS and Hi8 tapes to Mpeg2 12MBit, and I want to burn them onto dvds. What would be the best software for this? I've just been using what has come with my tuner card, but it is very limited.

Nero does a pretty good job but i'm more of a Adobe Premier Pro 1.5 and Adobe Encore DVD kinda guy.
